Loca­tions

JamSpot has two loca­tions in the Boston area. Both loca­tions have onsite park­ing for tour buses and trail­ers, direct, ground floor load-ins, plenty of secure stor­age space for dead cases, sev­eral lounges, a din­ing area and wifi. Pro­duc­tion office space is also avail­able for an addi­tional fee.

Our in-town facil­ity in Somerville is located on the Cambridge/Somerville line about 30 min­utes by taxi from Logan Air­port, 15 min­utes from down­town Boston and 10 min­utes from Har­vard Square. Our sub­ur­ban loca­tion in Wake­field is located directly on Inter­state 95 at Exit 42, about 20 min­utes from Logan Air­port, 15 miles north of Boston and 40 min­utes south of Portsmouth, NH. The address is 14 Teal Road, Wake­field, MA 01880. Tel. (339) 219‑0274, email Wakefield@JamSpot.com.

Oper­at­ing hours

Jamspot in Somerville is open Monday-Friday from 10am to mid­night and on week­ends from 10am-8pm. Addi­tional hours can be arranged.

JamSpot in Wake­field is open Monday-Thursday from 4pm to 11pm and on Sat­ur­days and  Sun­days from noon-6pm. Addi­tional hours can be arranged.

Stu­dio Space

Somerville

JamSpot in Somerville has 8 pro­fes­sion­ally designed, sound­proofed stu­dios, includ­ing 6 Player Rooms, The Duke’s Room and the Show­case Room.

Somerville Player Rooms are 15’x20’ with 12’ ceilings.

The Duke’s Room is a flat floored, car­peted 20’x 36’ space.

The Show­case Room is a 24’x24’ room with 11.5 foot ceil­ings, and a 12’x24’, 6” high fixed stage includ­ing a cen­tral 6” high, 7’x6’ fixed drum riser. Con­nected to the Show­case Room is a stu­dio con­trol room with 16 tracks of Pro­Tools avail­able by request.

Wake­field

Jamspot in Wake­field has 9 pro­fes­sion­ally designed, sound­proofed stu­dios, includ­ing 6 Player Rooms, The Duke II Room, Joe’s Room and the Show­case Room.

Wake­field Player Rooms are 15’x20’ with 10’ ceilings.

The Duke II Room is a flat floored, car­peted 20’x 36’ space.

Joe’s Room is a flat floored, car­peted 28’x 40’ space with its own direct load-in door.

The Show­case Room is a 30’x40’ room with 16’ ceil­ings and a 12’x30, 6” high fixed stage and a cen­tral 6” high, 7’x6’ fixed drum riser. Con­nected to the Show­case Room is a stu­dio con­trol room/production office.

JamSpot offers a range of rental gear, includ­ing ampli­fiers, drum kits, key­boards and room PA sys­tems for your con­ve­nience. Equip­ment specs are avail­able on request.
