Jamspot Adult Music Workshops

Sup­ported by a work­shop leader, the group will develop and learn a set of songs, expe­ri­enc­ing the dynam­ics of work­ing as a team and improv­ing indi­vid­ual play­ing skills.

Our work­shop lead­ers are pro­fes­sional musi­cians and expe­ri­enced music teach­ers who really know their stuff. They come to each ses­sion with a set of songs to play (sug­ges­tions are always wel­come!), help each player learn their part and lead the group through the song list. We usu­ally run through 4–5 songs at each ses­sion and we often record the best ver­sions onto a CD you can take home with you.

We offer work­shops in many styles, from clas­sic rock to funk, blues, R&B, Motown and coun­try. Most work­shops are offered in the evenings from 7:30–9:30pm. We pro­vide all of the equip­ment, includ­ing drums and keyboards.
